Kibbles ‘n Bits Dog Food Review
Customer feedback seems to be very positive. There are a lot of pooches out there who love the food. Picky eaters love the taste of this pet food and pet owners love the price. What gave Kibbles ‘n Bits Dog Food a less-than-5-star rating was the ingredients list.
Though the food ensures a good source of vitamins and other supplements, as well as high-quality protein, because dogs have such sensitive skin, the top ingredients on the list for Kibbles ‘n Bits were a bit off-putting as corn, corn syrup, and soybean meal were the first two ingredients listed (two known allergens for dogs). For the quality and price, Kibbles ‘n Bits is a good dog food choice for your pup—both dogs and humans agree!
Pros
Price
Kibbles ‘n Bits is a relatively inexpensive dog food on the market today. For the quality of food, customers reported being pleased with the price point.
Great Taste
Dogs love the taste of this dog food. Large breeds to small breeds love the taste of Kibbles n Bits—even the pickiest eaters enjoy this kibble.
Cons
Ingredients
With the first two ingredients listed on the ingredients list being corn and soy (two of the top known allergens for dogs), some dog owners might disagree with this ingredients list. If a dog is known for having skin issues, corn, corn syrup, and soybean meal wouldn’t be the top ingredients pet owners would want to see.

Ingredients Analysis
When you look at the ingredients on the ingredient list for the recipes of Kibbles ‘n Bits dog food, you will notice that the first two ingredients are corn and soy—two known allergens for dogs. The other ingredients that are used in most of the recipes for Kibbles ‘n Bits are of high quality, such as vitamins, minerals, real meat, etc. However, what makes the ingredients list a bit off-putting are the top ingredients being corn and soy.
Also, the use of unidentified animal fat source is a problem; it’s not ideal to have this type of ingredient used in the formula since you cannot identify exactly where it came from. Overall, there are some good aspects of these ingredients, there are some ingredients that should be noted and carefully studied in terms of your dog in particular.
Recall History
According to the FDA’s website, there are no recalls listed for Kibbles ‘n Bits Dog Food recalls.

I bought a 50# bag of kibbles and bits. My Peaches (Dog). After the transitional period…She would pick out her food and leave the kibbles and bits. Needless to say. I have about 40# of your product left!
I live in critus county fl no wal mart here has kibbles and bits can food on there shelvs . And my dogs love kibbles and bits
My dog ate it for 18 years. Nothing else. Not even table scraps. I’m going to have to put him to sleep though. He is a miniature chawaw. I bought it buy the case.
My dog is 11 years old and cripple in his hand legs for about 8 months. A lady that I was doing house repairs for, told me she sent her daughter dog back home, and gave me about a half 10 lb bag of kibbles and bits. I fed it to my dog and on the fourth day of him eating kibbles and bits, he started walking on all four feet again. To this day I continue feeding my dog kibble and bits and he still walks normal
My dogs LOVE kibbles n bits bistro! It is one of the few dog foods that all 3 of them agree on and enjoy. They have never had any problems and in fact all three are very healthy and have had no major health problems. For reference I have a labrador, a hound mix, and a terrier mix. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for an affordable dog food that leaves them satisfied and healthy.
I have just switched to kibble and bites. I have 2 Shi Tzu’s. The oldest is 11 and her teeth struggle eating. Canned food makes her have the runs. I put the kibbles and bites down and she actually stayed at the bowl and ate with no pain. We will be staying on kibbles and bits since the soft chew seems great!
I agree for the price and taste my pup says it’s great. From my point of view the ingredients are horrible. The dog food being advertised while I was reading this isn’t much better and at $2 a pound is it worth it to buy real bison food where chicken meal and potatoes among other things are listed before the the bison meal (a product good enough for a dog but not a human) It’s not worth my money.
Dog and I agree out of most affordable options this is the one.
