Nature’s Recipe Dog Food Review
reviews show that customers with small and large breeds alike love this dog food—both the wet and dry formulas. The reason we gave this pet food 4 stars is due to the fact that while their ingredients boast grain-free and known meat sources, there are some factors that such as protein content and a few reports of unhappy customers. However, Nature’s Recipe reviews show an overall consensus that this is a good choice for your furry friend to ensure a healthy diet and healthy skin and coat!

Pros
Great for Doggy Tummies
Dogs with previous digestive issues have found Nature’s Recipe Dog Food to be top of the line. These pooches don’t suffer from gas or intestinal issues as they did on previous pet food brands. This is due to the added nutrients and the lack of grain in the recipes.
Picky Eaters Approve
We all know how picky all eaters can be and dogs are no exception to this rule. However, customers reported in Nature’s Recipes reviews that picky eaters found Nature’s Recipe to be delicious and a tasty meal. Doggies are gobbling up this tasty food every day.
Small Bite Sizes
Even though most dog food manufacturers say that it is great for all sizes and stages of life, there are certain kibble types that have gigantic bits that are hard to chew and swallow for smaller and senior dogs. But Nature’s Recipe reviews show that customers truly love the smaller bite sizes of the bits that are offered.
Cons
Digestive Issues for Senior Dogs
When reviewing customer reviews, it seems that some of the senior dogs had issues with digesting this dog food. There wasn’t really any mention of whether or not the customer gave their senior dog the senior formula, but they stated that their other dogs (who were younger) enjoyed the dog food.
Picky Eaters
While it is very common to have picky eaters in any bunch (humans or dogs), the picky eaters in the dog world don’t care for the taste of Nature’s Recipe Dog Food. Many dogs love the taste but customers who noted that their dogs were picky eaters found the taste to be off-putting for their dogs.
Product Line
Ingredients Analysis
After performing a Nature’s Recipe ingredients review, it is safe to say that this product provides average ingredients that match most of the other dog foods on the market today. The first ingredient that is listed is chicken, which is typically a good thing. But when you cook actual chicken meat, you lose a lot of the moisture which then brings down the actual meat content size. The next few ingredients are brown rice, barley, and oatmeal. These ingredients are mostly used as carbohydrates and vitamin-B sources. One of the top ingredients to note is chicken meal due to its high protein content—more than fresh chicken. Overall, there are really no ingredients that stand out as “no-no’s” in the dog food world, but there aren’t any stellar choices, either.
Recall History
There are no Nature’s Recipe Dog Food recall actions listed on the FDA website.
Conclusion/Wrap Up
Overall, if you’re looking for a well-known dog food that has healthy ingredients, you can trust that Nature’s Recipe Dog Food is a good choice for your fluffball. Customers (canine and human) have given this dog food two paws up and that really speaks for itself. If dogs are happy and healthy that’s all that matters!

my dog would love some of these dog foods , they sound tasty :)
Some of the food mentioned are those that I have fed to my dog before!
I adopted a 10 month old yorkie. She had bald spots, was thin. I’ve fed her nature’s recipe dry and wet dog food. Sheis beautiful. Ty so much.
My dog loves the Prime cuts wet in the little containers with peal off top and she is a very picky eater.but all of a suden we can not find them any where. If I could order them I would.
I found it online at PetSmart. It’s the only thing that my Yorkie will eat.
They let you buy 2 cases of some types and as many as you want of others. I just got 12 cases from them.
I have contacted Nature’s Choice and they said they are having supply issues.
