I recently switched my dog’s food to this exact food and it was a nightmare. All four of them got extremely sick. When i first put the food out for them to eat they refused to touch it. They did not want to eat. It sat there for a couple days before they finally ate it. Once they did, the become very sick. One dog broke out in hot spots, the other was itching non stop and could not stay still. They had diarrhea and vomiting throughout the day. It was so terrible to see my dogs going through that. I threw all Nutrish food out and they no longer have any issues.
My friend usually brings her dog on the weekend to play and he eats the food and water i leave out and he had a reaction as well. He had red bumps all over his stomach. I am just writing this for other people to be aware so other dogs do not have to suffer. Hopefully the company does something about this.
I have been using Rachel Ray`s food for over 6 month now for my dogs. I have 9year old German Shepard and 3year old Havaneese. Both of my dogs love the food, recently I`ve been treating them to RR snack and they are loving it too.
We have been feeding our yorkie silky Nutrish for several years with no problems. We purchase the smallest bag, now when the bag is 3/4 empty, our dog refuses to eat it. Most recently, she ate the food in the bowl and became ill. She vomited and had loose stools for 2 days after eating. I am wondering if the dog food becomes stale or bad after about three weeks. We never know how long it has set on the shelf at the store or under what conditions it has been kept. We live in FL and items like chips or other store bought items can become stale quickly. I wonder if any one else has experienced the same problem.
I will never ever buy this product again nor any other product supported by Rachael Ray. Anyone who caves into a group of immature children, who are obviously backed by seasoned organizations who are far from being truthful ABSOLUTELY SICKENS ME. Listening to these children trying to tell us what to do who have the life experience of a flea and the historical/constitutional IQ of dirt is insulting. Someone defending them instead of slapping some sense into them is criminal
I switched my dogs food from nutrish little bites when I noticed that it contains Chichén fat. I noticed that the food was extremely greasy when I touched it. I don’t feed my dogs chicken skin. Why would I feed them chicken fat. It is double bagged probably so that the grease won’t go through the first bag. Gross.
